3-9 Connecting a Monitor
To display images from the PT on a monitor, connect a VGA cable from the monitor to the analog RGB output
connector on the NS-series PT. Only the NS15 can output images to an external monitor.

Precautions
for Correct Use
•
The monitor does not have the same specifications as the PT. The monitor
may not operate correctly environments where there is noise, depending on
the monitor installation conditions, the length of the VGA cable, and the wir-
ing conditions. When installing a monitor, take sufficient measures to shield
against noise or install it where noise is not generated.
•
The image may be offset or distorted depending on the specific monitor that
you use.
•
If the monitor is installed more than 10 m from the PT or if the image is dis-
torted by the wiring conditions, use an analog RGB booster or an analog
RGB signal extender.
•
If the quality of the pictures displayed on the computer monitor is poor, ad-
just the picture quality at the monitor, either automatically or manually.
