6. Set 0000 to the output word. When 03E8 is set to the input word, converted
from 1000 (i.e., the scaled conversion data of the largest object measured
with the Unit), the teaching for the X2 value has been correctly executed.

To check the adjusted values, execute the scaling value read command with the
command code C600 or C610. The X1 value will read 0403 and the X2 value will
read 1993.

Set Value Teaching
The set value teach command can be used for the Unit only when the timing hold
in operation mode A is set to normal.
It is possible to use appropriate sample objects and adjust the set scaling values
by executing set value teaching with the set value teach command as follows.
•
LL Set Value:
C800
•
L Set Value:
C810
•
H Set Value:
C820
•
HH Set Value: C830
Setting Example
In this example, the timing hold is set to normal, and the L or H set value is ad-
justed using the teach function. The L set value is used for the smallest object of
all the objects measured by the Unit and the H set value is used for the largest
object of all the objects. The Unit is set to measurement mode so that the Unit will
display the results of the operation.
Operation
For the Smallest Object
1, 2, 3...
1. Adjust the L value with the smallest object using the set value teaching func-
tion. The input word reads 0100, which is the scaled conversion data of the
smallest object measured with the Unit, and the output word reads 0000.

2. Input the set value teach command code C810 for the L value. To input the
letter C with the Programming Console, press the Shift and 2 Keys. The in-
put word will be set to the response C810.
