Step 5 Instruct the Option Board to change parameter 972 first to 2, then to 1 (reset
the Option Board):
If the Option Board responds with result data, the reset failed. When the
Option Board is reset, the DP-V1 Class 2 (MSAC2) channel is automatically
closed. The details of the change instruction are therefore lost.
Step 6 Re-open the DP-V1 Class 2 channel to the Option Board before continuing
with further examples (Refer to section
4-5-2-1 Opening and Closing a DP-V1

Note The DP-V1 Class 2 (MSAC2) channel parameter channel is automatically
closed when resetting the Option Board. You will therefore have to re-open
the channel before you can perform further parameter accesses.
