The print quality setting is not
appropriate.
Set [Smooth] in [Screen] for the print
quality settings in the printer driver.
User’s Guide
Distorted images occur
when printing white
toner.
The toner is misaligned.
There are three types of solutions.
Select the solution procedure that
suits the printing conditions.
1. Lower the white density in [Color
Density] on the control panel.
2. Reduce the amount of toner
in [Spot color toner quantity
adjustment] for the spot color
function in the printer driver.
3. Set the paper thickness to a thicker
setting (slows print speed).
User’s Guide
The printout appears to
be speckled.
Possibly occurs if the media is
exposed to high temperatures.
Change the paper thickness to a
thinner setting. If it does not improve,
change it to an even thinner setting.

Blank pages are being
inserted.
An image that is less than 4
inches long is being printed.
When setting [User-defined paper]
in the printer driver, if you set less
than 4 inches for the following, then
a blank piece of paper will be inserted
after cut pages when you print.
▪Forcontinuouspaper,[Paper
length]
▪Fordie-cutlabels,die-cutlabels
with black marks and continuous
labels, [Label length]
▪Forcontinuouspaperwithblack
marks and continuous labels with
black marks, [Black mark interval]
This occurs because an image that is
shorter than the length of the paper
that can be fed is printed; so it is a
limit.
