Installing the transport assistance guide 

If the transport assistance guide comes off, for example, when the jammed paper is removed, follow the steps 
below to install it. 
 

1 

Lift the transport assistance guide, and check that the handle is on the top of the front side. 

 

  The transport assistance guide cannot be installed if its orientation is not correct. 

 

2 

Install the transport assistance guide by inserting the protrusions on its both sides into the left 
and right grooves of the machine. 

 

3 

Check that the protrusions on both sides of the transport assistance guide are inserted into the 
grooves properly.
