Opto-isolated inputs
Pin 2 of P1 on the breakout board is the opto-isolated return pin com-
mon to both opto-isolated A and B inputs. Octagon recommends that
these input sources have a common ground point established that is tied
to pin 2. See Figure 7-3 for recommended timing usage.
