Since t here is a limit to t he number of parameters or values in each
mode, t he ADVANCE

The ARROW buttons can be used at any time instead of t he
Keypad to make a +/-1 , +/-5, or a +/-1 O increment c hange as
needed.
The MODE SELECT Section
The MODE SELECT section of t he MATRIX-GR is t he section where all of
t he possible features and functions of the synt hesizer are accessed. As
you can tell just by looking at t he operating parameters printed on t he right
half of t he front panel, t here are a lot of functions u nder your control. For
simplicity and speed, we have arranged t hese parameters into sections of
related functions. These t hree main sections - t he MODES - are titled as
follows:
1 . Patches
2. Splits
3. Master
Using t he parameters wit hin eac h of t hese pages in conjunction wit h the
Keypad is t he key to operating t he MATRIX-GR. The MODE SELECT
buttons allow you to access any of t he t hree Modes listed above and
operate wit hin t hem by using t he Keypad. As you can see, t he MODE
SELECT section furt her divides t hese four pages into related functions into
w hat are called PAGES, as follows:
PATCHES
Patch Select
Patch Edit
Matrix Mod
Pressing t he PATC HES button repeatedly will loop t hroug h t he t hree
Pages from top to bottom.
SPLITS
Split Select
Split Edit
Pressing t he SPLITS button repeatedly will switc h back and fort h between
t he two modes.
