Replacing the pinion

Tools

Hex socket screwdriver, 2 mm

Removing

1. Remove the two set screws [75A] from the motor 

pinion. Remove the pinion.

2. Remove the two set screws [75B] from the plastic 

pinion. Remove the pinion.

Installation

Perform the installation in the reverse order to the re-
moval. Note the following:

One of the two set screws must lie against the flat 

area of the shaft [76A].

Lubricate the teeth of the pinion.
