Chapter 8 - Understanding Waypoint/Route Navigation

If you don’t need to return to the original course line, you 
can continue directly to the waypoint (Course 2 above) 
using the restart function. To restart your course line from 
your present position, display either the 

NAV LOG

 screen 

(by pressing the 

 key) or the 

VESSEL CHART

 

screen (by pressing the 

 

 key). Press the 

 

 menu key, then the 

 key.

The unit recomputes the course line to extend from your 
present position directly to the next waypoint, resetting your 
cross-track error to zero.
