3. Move the cursor to select the desired waypoint from the
displayed list, and press the
key. The selected way-
point is now in your route.
Removing waypoints from a route
1. On the
EDIT ROUTE
screen, press the
to
move the pointer onto the waypoint you want to remove.
2. Press the
menu key.
3. Press the
key (or the
key to cancel).
Erasing an entire
route
Before erasing an entire route, you must erase all of the route’s
waypoints (see “Removing waypoints from a route” above).
Once you remove all the route’s waypoints:
1. On the
ROUTES
screen, press the
to point
to the route you want to erase.
2. Press the
menu key. The unit prompts you with
the question box confirming that you want to erase that
particular route.
3. To erase the route, press the
key (or the
key to cancel).
Editing a route
you’re following
If you make changes to a route you’re currently navigating
along, remember that the modified route is stored in the unit’s
memory, and these changes do not appear in the copy of the
route the unit is following. To make these changes take effect,
you must start following the route again (see ”Navigating
along routes” starting on page 123).
