interface-type: Interface type. interface-number: Interface number. subinterface-
name: Subinterface type.
Description
Using the
snmp-agent trap source
command, you can specify the source
address from which Trap will be sent. Using the undo
snmp-agent trap source
command, you can remove the Trap source address.
There is always a Trap address when the SNMP Trap message is being sent
from a server, no matter from which interface it is sent. This command can be
used to trace a special event.

Example
Specify the IP address of the Ethernet interface 1/0/0 as the source address of
Trap packet.

: V1 security mode the user uses.
v2c
: V2C security mode the user uses.
v3
: V3 security mode the user uses.
user-name
: User name, in the range of 1 to 32 bytes.
group-name
: Group name the user is corresponding to, in the range of 1 to 32
bytes.
authentication-mode
: Specifies the security level as requiring authentication.
md5
: Specifies the authentication protocol as HMAC-MD5-96.
sha
: Specifies the authentication protocol as HMAC-SHA-96.
auth-password
: Authentication password, which is a character string in the
range of 1 to 64 bytes.
privacy
: Specifies the security level as encrypted.
des56
: Specifies the encryption protocol as DES.
