Parameter  
ami

: Adopts Alternate Mark Inversion (AMI) line code format.  

 

hdb3

: Adopts High Density Bipolar 3 (HDB3) line code format. This parameter 

is  only significant for a CE1/PRI interface.  
 

Description  

Using the 

code

 command, you can set the line code format for a CE1/PRI  

interface. Using the 

undo code

 command, you can restore the default line code  

format of the interface.  
 
The line code format of CE1/PRI interface defaults to hdb3.  
 
You should keep the line code format of the interface in consistency with that  
used by the remote device.  
 

Example  

Set the line code format of the interface E1 3/0/0 to ami.
