Description
Using the
fe1 unframed
command, you can configure an E1-F interface to work
in unframed mode. Using the
undo fe1 unframed
command, you can configure
the E1-F interface to work in framed mode.
By default, E1-F interfaces work in framed mode.
When it works in unframed mode, it is a non-timeslots interface of 2048kbps
data bandwidth. In this case, it is logically equivalent to a synchronous serial
interface.
When it works in framed mode, however, it is physically divided into 32 time
slots numbered in the range of 0 to 31, and time slot 0 is used for transmitting
synchronization information.

long decibel
: Matches the transmission line longer than 655 feet. The argument
decibel can take 0db, -7.5db, -15db, or -22.5db, depending on the signal quality
at the receiving end. In this case, no external CSU is required.
