If a currently installed hard disk drive is being replaced:
Label the IDE device signal and power cables
connected to the drive and then disconnect them.
Remove the four screws securing the drive to the
internal bracket or the chassis wall.
Remove the drive from the chassis.

Insert the new hard disk drive into the drive slot. Orient
the cable connectors toward the front of the system.
5.
Line up the four holes in the drive with:
the holes in the internal bracket (for the inner slot)
the holes in the chassis wall (for the outer of the two
slots).
6.
Secure the device to the chassis with the four screws that
came with the device or the screws from the old device.
The inner drive slot screws are accessed through the
cutouts in the chassis wall (see the following figure).
