The internal servomotor
electronics of the EGR shutoff flap
A side (M53.1) signal excessively
high temperature.
1. Check for high temperatures in the vicinity of the servomotor, e.g.
resulting from faulty insulation, defective seals, signs of sooting
(→ Page 119).
2. Contact Service.

32 V. The servomotor assumes a
safe position.
1. Check state of battery charge (plant).
2. Check plug connections to engine governor (→ Page 159).
