Defining a Group Access Level
To define a group access level for a user account, use the following command in
Global Configuration mode:

where:
WORD
is the user account login name
user-group
is one of the groups shown below (
). The ISP and MSO
groups have access to a specific set of CLI commands.
For example:

Verifying Your User Account Login Configuration
Use the
show running-config
command in Privileged EXEC mode to verify your
user account configuration:
MOT(config)#
show running-config
In the following example, user account passwords have not been encrypted:

Note:
The
show running-config
command output identifies the user
account password with the number 0 if it is unencrypted. If the user account
password is encrypted, it is identified with the number 7.
