Our CM foot platforms are installed onto a
one-piece
extension bracket. The individual foot plates are installed
onto two separate extension brackets. The extension bracket/knee-to-heel (KTH) length is adjusted via four
upper adjustment screws (2 screws per side) on the extension bracket(s) (refer to
Fig. 1.
).
Note:
the front
shroud and calf pads are not shown for illustration purposes.
1. Loosen the 4 adjustment screws
(2 per side)
on the
extension
bracket, and slide/adjust the extension
bracket/foot platform to the desired KTH Length.
2. Fully tighten the 4 adjustment screws on the extension
bracket to secure the foot platform into position.
IMPORTANT!
Following any KTH adjustment, always
ensure there is no collision interference with the front
casters or wheelchair chasis, and that sufficient
ground clearance is provided. It is recommended that
KTH length adjustments be performed by a Qualified
Technician (see section
5.9.3

Maxx LNX Center Mount Legrest:
The KTH length for the LNX Legrest is controlled via the legrest extension
bracket. Split footplates utilize two individual extension brackets (to allow
independent footplate adjustment), while the centermount platform utilizes a
one-piece extension bracket. The slotted channel in the bracket allows for in-
finite KTH adjustability within the available channel length. The Maxx LNX
CM legrest has a

platform to the desired KTH Length.
2. Fully tighten all adjustment screws on the extension bracket to secure the foot platform into position.
