5.3 The More Connections Screen
The Device allows you to configure more than one Internet access connection. To configure
additional Internet access connections click
Network Setting > Broadband > More Connections
.
The screen differs by the encapsulation you select. When you use the
Broadband > Internet
Connection
screen to set up Internet access, you are configuring the first WAN connection.

The following table describes the labels in this screen.
MTU
The Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) defines the size of the largest packet allowed
on an interface or connection. Enter the MTU in this field.
For ENET ENCAP, the MTU value is 1500.
For PPPoE, the MTU value is 1492.
For PPPoA and RFC 1483, the MTU is 65535.
Apply
Click this to save your changes.
Cancel
Click this to restore your previously saved settings.
Advanced Setup
Click this to close the
Advanced Internet Connection
section.

This is an index number indicating the number of the corresponding connection.
Active
This field indicates whether the connection is active or not. This field is read-only.
Node Name
This is the name of the Internet connection.
VPI/VCI
This field displays the Virtual Path Identifier (VPI) and Virtual Channel Identifier (VCI)
numbers configured for this WAN connection.
