For maximum operating efficiency,
keep all w indow s and the sliding roof
closed.
Heating cooling, and air distribution
w ithin the vehicle’s interior will be
autom atically controlled. This is
accom plished w ith the tem perature
selector (1), the pushbuttons (2) and
the fan control b uttons (3).
The adjustable air outlets (7), (8)
and (9) can be variably opened and
closed, or moved to d ire ct the flo w of
air as desired. The outlets (7) are
opened and closed with slide
lever (6), and outlets (8) with slide
levers (5).
Move slide levers (5) and (6) tow ards
the left to open, tow ards the right to
close.
The air flow from the o utlets (9) may
be increased by rotating the control
(10) up, and reduced by rotating
down.
An air ou tle t in the rear passenger
com partm ent console provides a vari
able flow of fresh outside air or
cooled air. The air flow is increased by
sliding the lever to the left and
decreased by sliding the lever to the
right.
To ensure efficient operation o f the
climate control system , the air outlets
(7), (8) and (9) should not all be
closed at the same time.
