Cruise Control

Overview

WARNING: Pay particular attention 
to road and traffic conditions, when 
cruise control is activated, and 
always travel at a speed which is 
safe for the current conditions.

Never use cruise control on winding 
or slippery roads or when visibility is 
poor, e.g. in fog, heavy rain or snow.

Cruise control allows the driver to maintain a 
constant speed without using the 
accelerator pedal. This is useful on 
motorway journeys where a constant speed 
can be maintained for long periods.

All cruise control functions are operated by 
the cruise control stalk, positioned on the 
right of the steering column.

Using cruise control

Accelerate to the desired speed and push 
the stalk up briefly, to activate cruise control. 
The set speed will appear on the instrument 
cluster.

NOTE: Cruise control will only operate 
at speeds in excess of 20 mph (30 
kph).

Speed can be increased at any time by 
pressing the accelerator pedal. Once the 
accelerator pedal is released the vehicle will 
return to the cruise speed.
