Speed Agree
The IMPULSE
®
•G+ and VG+ Series 4 utilizes three different functions for detecting output
frequency:
Speed Agree 1
•
When enabled using MFDO "H02-xx = 2", the contact closes when the output frequency (U01-
02) is equal to the frequency reference (U01-01) plus or minus the speed agree detection width
(L04-02).
•
U01-02 = (U01-01 ± L04-02)
•
When enabled using MFDO “H02-xx =3”, the contact closes when the output frequency (U01-
02) is equal to the speed agree detection level (L04-01) plus or minus the speed agree detection
width (L04-02).
•
U01-02 = (L04-01 ± L04-02)
Speed Agree 2
•
When enabled using MFDO “H02-xx = 13”, the contact closes when the output frequency (U01-
02) is equal to the frequency reference (U01-01) plus or minus the speed agree detection width
(L04-04).
•
U01-02 = (U01-01 ± L04-04)
•
When enabled using MFDO “H02-xx = 14”, the contact closes when output frequency (U01-02)
is equal to the speed agree detection level (L04-03) plus or minus the speed agree detection
width (L04-04).
•
U01-02 = (L04-03 ± L04-04)
Frequency Detect
When Frequency Detect is enabled using MFDO "H02-xx = 4":
•
Contact closes at start.
•
Contact opens when accelerating: U01-02
≥
(L04-01 + L04-02).
•
Contact closes again when decelerating: U01-02 < L04-01.
When Frequency Detect is enabled using MFDO "H02-xx = 5":
•
Contact opens at start.
•
Contact closes when accelerating: U01-02
≥
L04-01.
•
Contact opens again when decelerating: U01-02 < (L04-01 - L04-02).
NOTE:
If L04-01 or L04-03 is set below 5 Hz, the DC Injection Start Frequency (D01-01) and
Speed Agree Widths (L04-02/L04-04) may need to be adjusted lower in order for the drive
to recognize runs properly.
