m. Install pin (F) through header leg, (engaging U-
bracket in lift linkage) on both sides, and secure
with hairpin.
n. Raise header stand (R) to storage position by
pulling pin (S), and lifting stand into uppermost
position. Release pin (S).
o. Remove pin from storage position (T) in linkage,
and insert in hole (U) to engage float springs.
Secure with hairpin.
p. Disengage lift cylinder stop by turning lever (P)
downward to release and lower stop until lever
locks into vertical position.
q. Repeat for opposite lift cylinder stop.
CAUTION
Check to be sure all bystanders have cleared
the area.
r. Start engine, and activat e HEADER DOWN
switch on GSL to lower header fully. Stop engine,
and remove key.
WARNING
Stop windrower engine, and remove key
before making adjustments to machine. A
child or even a pet could engage the drive.
s. Connect header drive hoses (V) and el ectrical
harness (W) to head er. Refer to th e Draper
Header Operator’s Manual.
t. Connect reel hydraulics (X) at RH side of
windrower. Refer t o the Drap er Header
Operator’s Manual.
CAUTION
Check to be sure all bystanders have cleared
the area.
u. Start engine, and raise and lower header and reel
a few times to allow trapped air to pass back to
the reservoir.
