Warning

Sensor functions may be affected by equipment operated in the

vicinity. Before use, check that the device operates normally when

used in the vicinity of other equipment.

Warning

Keep magnetic objects away from the device. Magnetic objects

may distort the waveform and cause incorrect readings.

Warning

Do not use the device in the vicinity of nuclear magnetic reso-

nance equipment.

Warning

Measurements may not be performed correctly until several min-

utes after connection of the sensor because the temperature of

the device is not yet stable.

Warning

Do not allow liquid to enter into the housing of the device during

operation.

Warning

Do not immerse the device in liquids, such as water or disinfectant.

Warning

The CO

sensor is not defibrillation-proof. It is mandatory to re

move the CO

sensor from the patient during defibrillation.

Warning

Use only the specified airway adapters. Otherwise, the maximum

performance cannot be guaranteed due to larger dead space, leak-

age or an unsafe (electrical) connection, etc.

Warning

Do not use the adult/paediatric adapter on neonates because the

dead space of the airway adapter is 5 ml.
