External medical equipment interface elisa@megs
By connecting an external medical equipment interface elisa@megs, elisa 300 –
800 VIT devices can be expanded with another 5 communication options.
Remark
elisa@megs must be connected to one of the BF interfaces with
the Salvia protocol.
This requires the configuration of the BF interface for the “Salvia”
protocol in the configuration menu.
Contact your service technician or the responsible person in your
ward for this configuration change.
Remark
Check the interfaces at the back of your elisa 600 / elisa 800. De-
vices with older serial numbers (SW 2.04.x) may not be equipped
with the required BF interfaces.
It is not possible to use elisa@megs with these devices.
elisa@ megs expands the communication options of elisa 300 – 800 VIT by another
five external communication interfaces, four of which using the Salvia protocol
and one using the Philips protocol. They can be used in parallel, which means, for
example, that elisa 300 – 800 VIT can be integrated in a patient data management
system and at the same time, measured values, configuration parameters and
alarm data can be transferred to a patient monitor via one of the other interfaces.
