When troubleshooting a Bridge make the following checks first:

Front power button on Bridge is illuminated blue

indicates power to
Bridge and turned on

Bridge
cables
are
not
loose

Other computers that share the same internet connection as the Bridge
have internet access

Bridge not listed on
Communication page of
web portal or Bridge
shows “NO
COMMUNICATION” on
Communication page of
web portal.
Internet connection
problem.
Turn off modem, routers,
Bridge and any other
computers with internet
access. Power devices
back up in this order,
giving each one 60
seconds begin operating:
1) modem, 2) router, 3)
Bridge and PCs. Check
with your internet service
provider if problem
persists.
Bridge not turned on.
Turn Bridge on.
If power cycling your modem, router and Bridge does not solve an internet
connection related problem you may need to contact your internet service
provider or installer of your internet equipment. Section H contains instructions
for determining if your Bridge has an IP address with may be useful in
troubleshooting internet problems. There are also instructions in section H to
“ping” an external IP address with the
Bridge. If the ping is successful you know
the Bridge can transmit and receive data over the internet.
Base RTU
When troubleshooting a Base RTU make the following checks first;

Base RTU has power (supplied by Bridge)
x
Base RTU cables are not loose
x
Base RTU antenna cables are not loose
x
Test RTU is able to mesh with Base RTU (power up a RTU near the Base
RTU with a whip antenna, configured as a pivot RTU on same hop pattern
as Base RTU)
