4.0 Design and Installation
There are seven steps to designing and installing a FieldNET system:

The goal of this process is to determine what hardware is needed, verify RTU and
Repeater range and determine if any additional hardware is required.
The design examples in Appendix A illustrates FieldNET hardware is required for
different situations

4.1 Create Map of Installation Site
The first step in designing a FieldNET system is to create a map of the installation site.
Google Earth is an excellent tool for creating maps. Appendix C contains information
on Google Earth.
