3.6 UHF Neulink/Skyline Radios
An existing Online Control system with Neulink or Skyline radios is easily integrated into
a FieldNET system. The Base radio for the existing online controls is unplugged from
its PC and connected to the FieldNET Bridge. Events must be generated on the pivots
with the existing Neulink and Skyline radios to force them to transmit. Once the
FieldNET Bridge receives a transmission from an existing online control radio it will
register it as a new device.
3.7 High Speed Internet
The FieldNET Bridge requires an always on high speed Internet connection to operate.
DSL, cable modems and satellite connections are always on high speed Internet
connections. Dial up Internet service with a phone modem is insufficient for the
FieldNET system.

3.8 Web Portal
The web portal provides the FieldNET user interface. Through the web portal you can
monitor and control your mechanized irrigation equipment. The URL for web based

3.9 Service Plans
Each FieldNET RTU and Neulink or Skyline radio that is available on the FieldNET web
portal must have a service plan. Service plans can be purchased for 4 months, 6
months or 8-12 months depending on the length of the
customer’s
irrigation season.
There are two types of service plans, Advanced and Premier. Premier service plans
offer the most monitor and control options. Premier service plans are for FieldVISION
or FieldBOSS panels only. Advanced service plans are for all other panels. Premier
service plans for Neulink or Skyline radios are purchased for 20, 50 or unlimited RTUs
and are good for 12 months. All service plans must be renewed yearly.
