Step 2 (optional):
For troubleshooting a monitor and keyboard may be
connected to the Bridge. A monitor and keyboard is not required. A monitor may
be connected to either the VGA or HDMI port. A USB keyboard can be
connected to any unused USB ports.
Step 3:
Locate the MAC address of the Bridge. The MAC address is printed on
a decal on the side of the Bridge. The MAC address is 12 characters (numbers
0-9 and letters a-f). The MAC address is used to identify the Bridge.
Example:
MAC:00:01:80:7b:a4:46
Step 4:
Contact the FieldNET Customer Care Center to have the Bridge added
to your FieldNET account.

Step 5:
Verify the new Bridge is listed as connected on your FieldNET account
The new Bridge will have 4 green bars on the Communication page if it is
properly connected to the internet.
Bridge Not Connecting to Internet
Perform the following checks if the Bridge is not communicating:

Are other computers using the same internet connection able to reach the
internet? If no computers have an internet connection power off the
Bridge, router and modem. Power back on one component at a time
waiting 30 seconds for each device to become active: 1
st
modem, 2
nd
router, 3
rd
Bridge and other computers.

Does the Ethernet connector on the back of the Bridge have a solid green
LED and flashing yellow LED? If not the cable may be loose, defective or
the internet connection may be inactive.

If the Bridge is still offline AND other computers can reach the internet
refer to the FieldNET Bridge Troubleshooting at the end of this document.
