10.4 Replacing fuses
Before replacing the fuse, switch off the Leica M525 F20/
CT20 surgical microscope and disconnect it from the power
supply.
Changing fuses at the power input socket

On the bottom of the horizontal arm, remove the cover (1) using
a screwdriver.

Remove the 2 fuses from their receptacles and replace them.
Use only 6.3 A slow-blowing fuses.
Changing the fuse at the auxiliary power socket

Unscrew the fuse holder (3) on the bottom of the horizontal
arm.

Remove the fuse (4) from the holder and replace it.
Use only a 1 A slow-blowing fuse.
10.5 Function check
Illumination
Leave the illumination on for at least 5 minutes, as
otherwise luminosity will decrease rapidly.
Switch on the illumination on the control/illumination unit.
Switch illumination off again.
Footswitch

Position the footswitch.

Test all the functions with the footswitch.
