Press the "User" button in the main menu.
The following selection menu appears:

Press the "Show Settings" button.
The current settings of the handswitch/footswitch, the handles and
the tube and the set speeds for zoom and focus appear.
Selecting the footswitch/handswitch type and assigning

Press the "Menu" button in the main menu.
The following selection menu appears:

Press the "User settings" button.

Select "Footswitch Progr." using the arrow keys (1).

Select the desired footswitch/handswitch using the "Type"
button (4).
Configuring the assignment:

Press the desired button on the footswitch/handswitch.
On the display (5), a green LED lights up on the corresponding
button.

In the selection list (3), use the arrow keys (2) to select the
desired function for the active button and click it.
The button on the footswitch/handswitch is assigned the selected
function.

Follow the same procedure to assign the other keys.
