Balancing the Leica M525 F20/CT20 surgical microscope

Move the tubes (binocular tube, attachment for second
observer, videozoom tube) to the operating position.

Position the Leica M525 F20/CT20 surgical microscope
horizontally.

Loosen the brake knob (3).
The Leica M525 F20/CT20 surgical microscope tilts forward:

Push the push button in the "+" – direction (1) until the Leica
M525 F20/CT20 surgical microscope no longer moves with the
brake released.
The Leica M525 F20/CT20 surgical microscope tilts backward:

Push the push button in the "–" direction (2) until the Leica
M525 F20/CT20 surgical microscope no longer moves with the
brake released.

Tilt the Leica M525 F20/CT20 surgical microscope by 90°.

Push the push button in the "+" – direction (1) until the Leica
M525 F20/CT20 surgical microscope no longer moves with the
brake released.
The Leica M525 F20/CT20 surgical microscope tilts backward:

Push the push button in the "–" direction (2) until the Leica
M525 F20/CT20 surgical microscope no longer moves with the
brake released.

Tilt the Leica M525 F20/CT20 surgical microscope by 90°.

Tighten the brake knob (3).

Position the Leica M525 F20/CT20 surgical microscope
horizontally back to the working position.

Loosen the brake knob (4).
The surgical microscope falls toward the right:

Fold out the rotary knob (5) and turn it clockwise until the
microscope carrier is balanced.

Fold the rotary knob (5) back in.
The surgical microscope falls toward the left:

X
Fold out the rotary knob (5) and turn it counterclockwise until
the microscope carrier is balanced.

Fold the rotary knob (5) back in.
