Taking over a doctor's settings and saving them under a new
name
You can select the settings of any desired doctor and save them
under a new name.

Select a doctor whose settings are closest to the ones you want
(see page 35).

Press the "User" button in the main menu.

In the selection menu that follows, press the "Save actual
settings" button.
The onscreen keyboard appears:

Enter the new name and confirm with OK.
The selection menu with all stored names appears.

From the selection list, click a place at which the doctor and his
or her settings are to be stored.

Confirm the following warning message with OK.
The settings are stored under a new name.
Selecting stored default values
For your convenience, Leica Microsystems has stored default values
with the most frequent types of operations. These can be called up
as desired.

Press the "User" button in the main menu.

In the selection menu that follows, click the "Load Preset User"
button.

Select the desired type of operation.
The microscope moves into position corresponding to the values.

From the selection list, click a place at which the doctor and his
or her settings are to be stored.

Confirm the following warning message with OK.
The settings are of the selected operation type are stored under a
name.
