Changing the settings for handles
The operating knobs (6) on the handles can be assigned individually
(e.g. to control the illumination brightness).

Press the "Menu" button in the main menu.

In the selection menu that follows, press the "User settings"
button.
The following selection menu appears:

Use the arrow keys (7) to select "Handle Left" or "Handle right".
Configuring the assignment:

Press the operating button on the handle.
On the display (10), a green dot lights up on the corresponding
operating button.

In the list box (9), use the arrow keys (8) to select the desired
function for the active operating button and press it.
The operating button is assigned the selected function.

Follow the same procedure to assign functions to the other
operating buttons.
Microscope settings
In this menu field, you can configure the accessories you are using
and the brightness of the touch panel monitor.

Press the "Menu" button in the main menu.

In the selection menu that follows, press the "Maintenance"
button.
The following selection menu appears:

If you do not make a selection, the magnification is
calculated for the standard configuration: binocular tube at
30°–150° and eyepiece with 10x magnification.
Select the tube you are using:

Select "Tube Settings" with the arrow keys (1).
All tubes that can be used on the Leica M525 F20/CT20 are
displayed.

Press the desired tube.
The tube is selected.
Select the eyepiece you are using:

Select "IP Settings" with the arrow keys (3).
All eyepieces that can be used on the Leica M525 F20/CT20 are
displayed.

Press the desired eyepiece.
The eyepiece is selected.
