Mistakes in programming
It is not possible to set a baking period that would start earlier than the time currently displayed
on the timer display. Any attempt to do this will cause the activation of audio signal and visual
flashing signal AUTO, indicating a mistake in programming. Such programming mistake can
be corrected by changing the starting and end of baking times.
Cancellation of operation settings
The operation settings can be cancelled by pressing the manual mode pushbutton.
MECHANICAL MINUTE MINDER USE
The minute minder is a timer unit with spring drive and audio signal.
To set the minute minder, turn the knob clockwise to the desired
time (Figure 24). Maximum setting is 60 minutes. After the lapse of
the preset time, an audio signal is heard which goes off
spontaneously. The minute minder setting may be cancelled by
turning the knob counter clockwise making sure not to exceed the
zero mark.
Any attempt to turn it further will damage the minute
minder !
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always make sure that the cooker is disconnected from the
power supply before cleaning: either disconnect the relevant
fuse or the plug or switch off the LS-circuit breaker.
Do not clean the oven with a high pressure steam unit,
because it may cause a short circuit and damage the cooker.
For the cleaning of enamelled, chrome-plated and glass surfaces use warm water, a
commercial cleaner and soft cloth.
For the cleaning of stainless steel surface, use a cleaner specially designed for that purpose.
Do not use abrasive products or sharp tools for cleaning to avoid damages to enamelled,
painted and stainless steel surfaces. When using detergents and special cleaners, strictly
follow the manufacturer’s dosing instructions and take care of the environment.
Heating plate cleaning
Clean the heating plates with a wet cloth and then wipe them with a dry cloth. Spilled over
liquids and salt should be wiped off immediately ! Use only the saucepans with dry bottom.
Never put wet objects on hot plates. Boiled-over food should be wiped off immediately -
otherwise it will burn on the surface.
