These zones are designed to match various cookware sizes and shapes (Fig. 9 , pos. 1).

The smaller cooking area is switched on by turning the relevant knob (Figure 10) clockwise
from „0“ to „3“.
The larger cooking area is switched on by turning the relevant knob to the symbol “
“
(which follows the pos. "3) until a "click" is heard, which means that the second (larger) circle is
switched on. Then set the desired power level (1-3). By setting the knob to position "0", all
cooking zones are switched off.
Residual heat indicator
Each cooking zone has its indicator lamp (Fig. 9 , pos. 2) which lights up when the relevant
zone is hot. The lamp goes off when the cooking zone cools down (below 60
°
C). The residual
heat indicator may light up if a hot saucepan is placed on a cooking zone which has not been
in operation.
