1.
Remove the inspection cover (A).
2.
Place the containers to catch the oil under the drain valve
(P) for the swing machinery at the bottom of the machine,
and under the drain valve (Q) for the electric swing motor.
3.
Loosen the drain valve (P) for the swing machinery at the
bottom of the machine and the drain valve (Q) for the elec-
tric swing motor, and drain the oil. After draining oil, tighten
them.
Tightening torque of drain valve (P): 19.6 to 24.5 Nm {2.0
to 2.5 kgm}
Tightening torque of drain valve (Q): 19.6 to 24.5 Nm {2.0
to 2.5 kgm}
REMARK
• If the oil becomes thin thread condition, there is no problem to stop the draining operation.
• When the ambient temperature is low, swing the upper structure to raise the oil temperature slightly
before starting the oil draining operation. Never swing the upper structure while draining the oil. This
may cause breakage of the swing machinery.
4.
Remove the dipstick (G) from the oil filler port (F) of the
swing machinery, and add the refill capacity of oil.
5.
Remove the dipstick (J) from the oil filler port (K) of the
electric swing motor, and add the refill capacity of oil.
6.
Check the oil level with the dipstick (G) of the swing machi-
nery and the dipstick (J) of the swing motor.
For details, see “METHOD FOR CHECKING OIL LEVEL
IN SWING MACHINERY CASE, ADDING OIL” and
“METHOD FOR CHECKING OIL LEVEL IN ELECTRIC
SWING MOTOR CASE, ADDING OIL”.
7.
Start the engine and leave it as it is for 5 minutes or more.
8.
Stop the engine and wait until the temperature of each part goes down to the normal temperature. Then
check the oil level with the dipstick (G) of the swing machinery and the dipstick (J) of the swing motor again.
