Open the cover of case at front right of the machine, look
into the capacitor inspection window (1), and check that
one of LED lamps is lit.
• If the engine has not been operated for a long period,
all of LED lamps may go out.
When all of LED lamps are not lit, start the engine,
wait for 2 minutes or so, stop the engine, and then
check again.

Turn the starting switch key to START position (C), and
start the engine.
4.
Look into the capacitor inspection window (1) again, and
check that both of right and left LED lamps are lit.
REMARK
The LED lamps seen through the capacitor inspection window indicate the following states by the number of lit
lamps.
• ■■ (2 lamps are lit): Outputting high voltage
• □■ (1 lamp is lit): Charged at high voltage
• □□ (No lamp is lit): Not charged
METHOD FOR CHECKING DEF LEVEL, ADDING DEF

WARNING
• Do not put any fluid other than DEF into DEF tank.
• Keep your face away from the filler port during opening the cap of DEF tank or refilling to avoid the
ammonia vapour.
• Foreign materials entered in DEF system or urea deposit by urea separation may disturb the opera-
tion of the system. Before removing the filler cap, wipe off the dirt from around the filler port. Before
inserting the filler nozzle into the filler port, wipe off dirt from it.
• If DEF is spilled, immediately wash and clean the area with water. If spilled DEF is left unattended
and the area is not washed and cleaned, it can cause corrosion to the contaminated area and emit
toxic gas.
