CEILING WINDOW
The ceiling window for the operator cab is a transparent fixed
type window which has an improved visibility.
An optional guard can be installed if the work is performed in
the site where there is danger of a falling object.
METHOD FOR OPENING AND CLOSING CAB FRONT WINDOW

WARNING
• When opening or closing the front window, bottom window, or door, always set the lock lever to
LOCK position.
If the control lever or control pedal is touched by mistake when the lock lever is in FREE position, it
may cause serious personal injury or death.
• When opening or closing the front window, stop the machine on a level ground, lower the work
equipment to the ground, stop the engine, then perform the operation.
• When opening the front window, hold the handle securely with both hands to pull up, and do not
release your hands until the front window is locked by the automatic lock catch.
• When closing the front window, the window may move quicker under its own weight. Hold the han-
dles securely with both hands when closing it.
It is possible to stow the front window (upper side) in the roof of the operator's compartment.
When opening
1.
Stop the machine on a level ground, lower the work equip-
ment to the ground, then stop the engine.
Operate the operating portion (g) of the lock lever (1) to set
it securely to LOCK position (L).

Check that the wiper blade is stowed in the right stay.
If the wiper blade is stowed in wrong stowing position (b),
lift it to move to the correct stowing position (a), or ask
your Komatsu distributor for repair.
