Check that lock lever (1) is at LOCK position (L).

Check that all the control levers and control pedals are at
NEUTRAL position.
If all the control levers and control pedals are released,
they return to NEUTRAL position.

Insert the key into starting switch (2) and turn it to ON posi-
tion (B).
At this time, do not touch the proportional switch on the left
side (D) or right side (E). If it is touched, "neutral detection
system" recognizes the "NEUTRAL" at wrong position, and
it will result in the unexpected movement of the attach-
ment.
5.
On the input display screen displayed on the machine
monitor, input the password and press the input confirma-
tion switch F6.
If a password is set, the input display screen will be indi-
cated on the machine monitor screen.
REMARK
For the setting, changing, or canceling the password, ask
your Komatsu distributor.
6.
Perform the following inspection on the machine monitor.
1) The buzzer sounds for approximately 2 seconds and
the following caution lamps and meters light up for ap-
proximately 2 seconds.
• Radiator coolant level caution lamp (3)
• Engine oil level caution lamp (4)
• Air cleaner clogging caution lamp (5)
• Charge level caution lamp (6)
• Engine oil pressure caution lamp (7)
• Water separator caution lamp (8)
• Hybrid temperature caution lamp (9)
