Then choose ADD.

N coordinate, E coordinate, and press OK.

4) After input start point information, press F4
ADD , the “Main Line input Screen” is displayed.
No: 1 means it is the first data of this horizontal
alignment.

The main line input screen displays current chainage and the bearing angle (the tangent line from
the chainage) and the function key (For creating new line). System provides four functions:
defining straight line, circular curve, transitional curve, point. Select a function key, input the
detailed information of this chainage, the alignment elements will be created. Press OK key, the
new chainage and bearing angle will be calculated automatically and the main alignment screen
will be restored. Now other line type can be defined. To exit current screen press ESC. To modify
the element which was input in advance, you should enter the “Edit Alignment” option; the new
elements can be added only to the end of the original alignment file.
