Length measurement

1. Connect the instruments as shown in Figure 15A.

2. Switch on each instrument and press [Autotest], [Abs / Rel], then

[Set Ref] for 3 seconds. The displayed length measurement should
read 0 meter.

3. Disconnect one end of the test lead, reconnect it to a fiber spool
(SMF or MMF as appropriate with expected length) via a thru adaptor
and, connect the other end of fiber-spool to the other LTS, see
Figure 15B.

4. Note the displayed length readings on both LTS, they should not
be more than



1% of the fiber-
