[For data saved in Meter mode only]: As default, absolute
power will be displayed in dBm along with loss (dB) and
reference power (dBm), see Figure 7 at the end of this
section for an LCD display sample. To change to display
absolute power in watt also, press
F3

again will
return to default display.
To view saved time and date, press and hold
Toggle
Centre
.
To exit memory mode, press button below [HOME].

To distinguish between stored manual and Autotest results,
Autotest results are shown with “Auto” at the
top of the
display.
Re-Test or Over-Write Results
•
Note your currently displayed memory location: Press button
below [HOME] then press button above

Go to the location to re-test: Select the desired location
using

or

, then hold button above

MEMORY

and press
F2
for three seconds or until it stops beeping.

To retest: Press button below [HOME] to exit Memory mode.
Enter Meter or Autotest mode, press triangular button above
“STORE”
now will save new results in the memory
location(s) selected above.

When you have finished re-testing, go to the next empty
location after your results: Enter Memory mode, select the
desired (e.g. “MEM

”) location using
+
or
-
, then hold
button above “
MEMORY
”
and then press
F2
for three
seconds or until it stops beeping.

Continue testing.
Clearing Memory
A full memory is indicated by ‘Full’ label and beep.
•
Prior to erasing the memory, you may want to copy the
stored test data onto a USB key, please refer to
USB Key

To clear
all stored data
, while in the Memory menu, hold
down [Memory], then press and hold [F2] followed by [F4]
until beeping stops.
“clr” will
be displayed and all stored data
will be cleared after it stops beeping. Note that this does not
clear stored Text ID Tags.
Memory Capacity
Memory capacity is:
8,000 fibers for one-way loss tests
4,000 fibers for two-way loss tests
Stored results can be easily recalled onto the instrument display.
