Go to Test Setup, enter / adjust any relevant data, and set
“Number of Tests” to set the spreadsheet size
•
Go to Terminal ID to name each location
•
KITS ribbon / ensure “Unset Secure” is
locked
Start Testing
•
Connect one fiber to test to the Two-Way port each end
•
Set instrument to Autotest if needed (just once)
•
Observe reading, if good, click yellow cell on fiber to save
on report
•
Observe pass / fail on report (click again to retest)
•
Next fiber, if good, click yellow cell on fiber to save on report
•
Use the communications feature if helpful
•
…etc
till job done
•
When done, save he report and secure access to the tested
equipment.
•
Check Final Report Tab to see Final Report
If intending to work into instrument memory, and if not done already:
•
Select suitable Tag ID
•
Set up the overall job size etc
•
Empty the instrument memory
•
Check instrument date & time
