The PFD will display “LPV TERM” in white
when within 31nm of the desired air por t
(Figure 16A-17, sheet 2 of 2). The PFD will
display “LPV APPR” in green after passing the
Final Approach Course Fix (FACF) if the SBAS
system is operational.
Baro-VNAV is used up until LPV APPR is an-
nunciated at which time GPS corrected VNAV
(LPV VNAV) will be used for the remainder
of the approach. A slight jump in the vertical
deviation indicator may be noticeable during
this transition.
Baro-VNAV temperature restrictions do NOT
apply to LPV VNAV.
