A Stationary Object Alert
(SOA) may be issued up to
three (3) seconds prior to

lessen the severity of, a
collision.
A stationary motor vehicle
is detected ahead in your
lane.

Factors that can potentially
affect the system’s ability to
identify a vehicle include: if
the vehicle is not a licensed
motorized vehicle; or
certain types of trailers.
If the vehicle is traveling
above 16km/h, a Stationary
Vehicle Alert (SVA) may be
issued up to three-and-a-
half (3.5) seconds prior to
impact.

You must immediately act
to potentially avoid, or

If a collision is likely to
occur, the Fusion system
can provide a warning and/
or apply the vehicle brakes.
