PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
To Change Main Oil Filter Element
1. Lift the lock up to its stop catch in order to replace the oil filter
element.

2. Using a single hex socket or ring spanner (to prevent cap
damage), loosen the cap.

3. Unscrew the cap a few turns to drain the filter housing.
4. Allow to drain for 60 seconds
5. Remove the screw cap (4), with the oil filter element, from the
filter housing.
6. Carefully remove the oil filter element avoiding any damage to the
screw cap thorn.

7. Remove the O-ring from the screw cap (4).
8. Install a new O-ring onto the screw cap (4).
9. Lightly oil the new O-ring and threads of the screw cap.
