13-2 Using the transport brackets

(T218601-034-0E)

Conﬁrm the machine operating weight, overall height, overall width, overall length, and other information before

transporting the machine.

(2)

Conﬁrm that the given weight, height, width, and length are not a problem for the chosen method of transport.

Use the wire rope and the transport brackets provided at the front and rear of the lower structure, speciﬁed on the

nameplate indicated below, to secure the machine on the trailer or truck bed during transport.

Only use the transport brackets for shipping weights less than 16.5 tons.
Adjust the wire rope positions for securing the machine within the range indicated below.
Use four wire ropes of the same length.

Use a shackle that meets or exceeds JIS B 2801 SB38 standards (minimum operating load capacity of 88.3 kN) in four
locations.
Use wire ropes with a nominal diameter of at least 31.5 mm (minimum breaking strength of 672 kN)
