You must not allow anyone to ride in the bucket or hoist on the

hook.

(6) Making the work site safe
1) Unstable ground surfaces increase the chance of tip-over.

Slopes, road shoulders and the edges of deep ditches are

unstable, so you should reinforce them before traveling over
them.

If the weight and vibration of the machine cause the ground

to crumble, there is the risk that the machine can fall or tip-
over. In particular beware of wet roads after rain and ground
surfaces after blasting which are prone to loosening.
