Check the battery electrolyte level before you start the engine. If the level is low, add it and measure the speciﬁc

gravity.

(4) Watch the water temperature gauge while you work. If the warning message indicating overheating appears on the

display, stop work immediately and inspect the cooling system.

10-3 Handling under a dusty or sandy environment

(1) After using the machine in a dusty or sandy environment, check for blockages in the air cleaner element more

frequently than the usual inspection interval, and wash or replace the element early.

(2)

Always keep the hydraulic oil and fuel ﬁller caps securely closed so that dust and sand cannot enter the hydraulic

equipment.

(3) Keep the pins, bushes and other greased parts clean and wipe dust, sand etc. away from the grease nipples before

you grease them.

(4)

Check for blockages in the protector net and cooling ﬁns of the intercooler, the oil cooler and the radiator.
