Escaping in a ﬁre

Fires can cause major injury or death.

If a ﬁre occurs while operating the machine, escape from the

machine by the following method.

・

Shut oﬀ the engine by turning the starter switch to "OFF".

・

Open the door and determine an escape route, then escape

from the machine using handrails and steps.

・

If time allows, use a ﬁre extinguisher to begin ﬁghting the

ﬁre.

(15) Flying debris hazard

・

Flying dirt, rocks fragments, metal debris, or other matter can

be extremely dangerous if it hits the eyes or other parts of the
body. These can cause a serious accident.

・

Wear a helmet, protective eyewear, safety shoes, a mask,

and gloves in locations where dirt or rock fragments could
be thrown, or when pins are inserted or removed.

・

Make sure all others are away from the machine when in

operation.

(16) Attaching a head guard

Always attach a head guard when working in locations exposed

to the risk of falling rocks or other objects.

(17) Precautions about the SCR system
1) Engine intake/exhaust system cannot be modified because

exhaust gas aftertreatment system failure or engine stop may
